The Maria Stein Spiritual Center in Maria Stein, Ohio will be transformed into Fatima, Portugal to honor the Mother of God on Friday evening, August 10th, 2007 (an annual event, scheduled on the Friday closest to the Feast of The Assumption)

Blessed Mother, look down and have mercy on our country.

Individuals from over thirty parishes will gather for the Honor and Glory of God in paying Tribute to Our Lady of Fatima. The event will begin with a concelebrated Mss with the Rev. Tony Fotman. After dark, a Blue and White Lighted Rosary will begin to take form on the grounds as each prayer is prayed over the intercom by young and old alike.

The program concludes with a procession behind a white lighted cross and the flower-laden platform bearing a statue of Our Lady of Fatima, (shipped from Portugal) while everyone sings "The Fatima Song". All present are encouraged to join in the procession. Candles and holders will be available.

Rev. Tony Fortman is a native of Ottawa, Ohio. He was ordained in July of 2001 as a member of the Precious Blood Community for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Ordination took place in his hometown parish of St. Peter and Paul. Fr. Tony is currently serving as associate pastor for the St. Henry cluster parishes. He is also the associate director of vocation for the Missionaries of the Precious Blood.

Items to bring: Rosary, lawn chair, FLASHLIGHT and warm clothing. A donation will be accepted for candles, holders, and other expenses.
